Sullivan sat in his comfy leather chair; one hand on a keyboard, the other one clutching a mouse, ready to react to anything that moves. He looked like a jet pilot from the future. A helmet-like mask covered the upper part of his face. Outside it was a simple glossy black hemisphere fastened with an adjustable plastic strap, but on the polstered inside, two high-density displays reminiscent of glass lenses illuminated the wearer's features and spilt the light on his cheeks. Maya entered the room. Again. She looked worried, compassion reflected in her eyes. But how was it possible? Didn't she kill him on her last visit? She drew her despicable wicked blade and plunged it in his belly, opening him like a can of soup. Then she stabbed and stabbed... He remembered so clearly. Yet now she was here like nothing happened. He didn't have a scratch. Apparently, it must have been a dream. Paul watched her warily. Tracked her every step. She kept her right hand down, out of view, but she was holding a syringe.
“Paul, you're getting worse.”

One thing I would like to try one day is collaborative writing. I mean real, true collaboration when I write a piece of a story and then the other guy writes another piece of the story and as a result we're creating something together -- something that we are both fond of.
